A empresa Google, informou ter firmado um acordo de colaboração com as autoridades do Museu de Artes Islâmica de Doha, como parte de um projeto artístico lançado pelo Estado do Catar. De acordo com a Al Jazeera, esse acordo tem como objetivo a expansão mundial do Museu de Arte Islâmica da capital do Catar que conta, atualmente, com 151 sócios em 40 países. Já a Google lançou uma ferramenta, o Art Project.
